Cookie Policy

1. What Are Cookies

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help the site remember your preferences and understand how you interact with it.

2. Essential Cookies

These cookies are required for the Platform to function. They include: session cookies (authentication), CSRF protection tokens, locale preference (NEXT_LOCALE), and theme preference. These cannot be disabled.

3. Product Analytics (Cookieless)

We use PostHog (EU Cloud) for product analytics in cookieless mode — it sets no cookies and stores nothing on your device. Because nothing is read from or written to your device, no consent is required under §25 TTDSG. This anonymous analysis relies on our legitimate interest in improving the product, and no personal data is sent to PostHog. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

4. Error Monitoring

We use PostHog for error monitoring to keep the service reliable. In cookieless mode this sets no cookies and stores nothing on your device. We do not use session replay. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (service operation).

5. How to Manage Cookies

You can manage your cookie preferences at any time using the "Cookie settings" link in the page footer. You can also delete cookies through your browser settings. Note that disabling essential cookies will prevent the Platform from functioning.

6. Cookie Consent Record

When you make a cookie choice, we store your preference in a cookie_consent cookie and, if you are logged in, in our database for GDPR accountability purposes. This record includes what you consented to, when, and the policy version.
